Oregon Bee Pollen
Bee pollen is collected off the legs of honey bees via a thick comb that beekeepers place in the entrance of the hive. The pollen changes color based on where the bees have collected it from.
Bee pollen is consumed by itself or in combinations with other food like already cooked oatmeal, smoothies, fruit, yogurt or Soil and Hive raw honey.
If you are unsure if you are allergic to bee pollen, first consult your doctor. If given the OK, it is recommended to start with a granule then adults can work their way up to a teaspoon or even 1 tablespoon daily and children up to 1 teaspoon daily.
It is recommended bee pollen granules be stored in the refrigerator or freezer for the longest lifespan (can be up to a few years in the freezer) in a sealed container.
~Warning~ Do not feed to infants under 1 year of age. If you are unsure if you are allergic to pollen, have a bee allergy, or are pregnant or breastfeeding, first consult your doctor before introducing bee pollen into your diet. If given the OK, consult with your doctor on how much to consume. Many people will start with a few granules, then adults typically work their way up to 1 tablespoon daily or children up to 1 teaspoon daily.
Our bee pollen is hand sorted. Small debris from the beehive may occasionally be found with the pollen.
