This spring honey is from the Westside of Beaverton where the countryside starts. It is a wildflower honey made from flowers gathered by the bees over a few months. These hives were placed under maple trees when they were in bloom. This honey is smooth and sweet.
Raw honey can crystallize as the glucose comes out of solution. One solution is to place the honey jar in a bowl of warm water. This will allow the honey to gently warm up to beehive temperatures. Depending on the type of honey, this might make the honey smoother.
