This spring honey is from the north of the Tualatin valley up on the hill by Skyline Rd. The hedges there are filled with hawthorn bushes and fields with wild radishes that were in bloom. There were also fruit trees, vines, and other plants in bloom.
Raw honey can crystallize as the glucose comes out of solution. One solution is to place the honey jar in a bowl of warm water. This will allow the honey to gently warm up to beehive temperatures. Depending on the type of honey, this might make the honey smoother.
~Warning~ Do not feed to infants under 1 year of age.
